I can't care less now for Petaling Jaya
Many of you have asked why I no longer help to highlight and provide feedback to the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) on issues I encounter while driving around the city, such as potholes, faulty traffic lights, broken lamp posts, clogged drains, and other public infrastructure problems. The reason is simple: I do not wish to waste my time now that a new Datuk Bandar has taken over from Datuk Zahri Samingon, who has since been promoted to Director-General of the Department of Human Resources (Jabatan Tenaga Rakyat). In fact, I told Datuk Zahri I am not going to waste time - often having to stop the car by the road side to take a photograph or asking my children to take the photograph to send to the mayor. I did all this voluntarily with the hope that the maintenance of public facilities can improve in Petaling Jaya, but some of you think I was trying to boost my ego. Let me put it straight : since I saw that the former mayor was always wiling to solve the problems on the ground...
